Sanjos Institute of Counselling and Career Guidance (Sanjos), a unit of "The Diocese of Ujjain" (Registered under Madhya Pradesh Society and Registration Act 1973, Reg. No. 3483 on 14th Nov 1977), was established on 8th Oct 2010 with an intention to enhance the mental health of people, especially of school-going children in Ujjain, Shajapur, and Rajgarh districts of M.P.
Sanjos works on a multi-dimensional approach to mental health, such as school mental health services, psychotherapy, learning disability and remedial teaching, teacher's empowerment programme, parenting skills training, and English proficiency course.
A unique feature of Sanjos is its multi-disciplinary team approach. Our team consists of a physician, pediatrician, psychiatrist, neurologist, clinical psychologist, psychologist, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist, counselling psychologist, special educators, medical and psychiatric social workers, and educationalists.
